16 UK Holocaust memorial shortlist

The United Kingdom Holocaust Memorial Foundation is releasing tickets to the public for the international design competition jury presentations at the V&A. This is the first day of the two-day jury meeting – juror deliberations will take place in private the following day.

This free special event, which allows design enthusiasts and others to observe how architects explain their ideas as they seek the commission to create a landmark memorial of national significance, will take place on Sunday 17 September 2017 in four sessions from 10.10 to 16.30. To attend you will need to book each session in advance through the V&A website.

Please be aware only ticket-holders will be admitted and space is limited. In order to help the process keep to time, no entry or exit will be permitted while teams are presenting. Under public procurement rules, the public are invited as observers only, and no filming or photography is allowed.

Each team will outline their proposals in depth, explaining their approach and the principles that have guided their design. The ten design teams presenting are:

Adjaye Associates
Allied Works
Anish Kapoor and Zaha Hadid Architects
