The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art was excited to host the site visit for the Creating a Museum for All International Design Competition, welcoming the six shortlisted teams to the campus for a series of tours and events.

The finalists delivered presentations at the sold-out ‘Architectural Finalists Showcase’, an energetic public forum introducing each firm’s background, values and approach. This is now available to view above.

The shortlist will now develop their concept designs for the final submission deadline in late February 2025. Their proposals will then be evaluated by the Architect Selection Committee, with a winner selected in Spring 2025.
