As one of MRC’s Competition Managers, Phoebe is responsible for managing processes across specific competitions.

Phoebe contributes to the production of competition documentation – including design briefs and jury reports – and prepares project timelines, liaising with clients and stakeholders to manage arrangements for site visits, workshops and jury presentations.

Additionally, Phoebe helps monitor MRC’s growing network of architects and jurors, regularly meeting new firms alongside Directors of Projects. She also supports with media, communications, and marketing MRC’s services.

Since joining MRC in 2023, Phoebe has supported the delivery of numerous masterplanning, hospitality and adaptive reuse projects in the Middle East and Europe. Recently, she has worked on the UK’s National Memorial to Queen Elizabeth II in St James’s Park, London; Qatar’s permanent Pavilion at the Venice Biennale; and the Museum of Jesus’ Baptism at Bethany, Jordan.

Architecture combines Phoebe’s interests in design, history, art, and culture. She is particularly interested in how buildings can define a city’s skyline and identity over time, and the balance between the expressive and functional aspects of architecture.

As well as being a Royal Ballet enthusiast, Phoebe enjoys skiing, visiting galleries, and travelling to heritage sites and national parks around the world.

Phoebe has a BA in French from Keble College, Oxford.
