Marina is our Projects’ Enabler, contributing to the smooth running of MRC’s competitions.

She contributes to competition documentation – including briefing materials and jury reports – supports on bids, and liaises with clients and jurors.

Since joining MRC in 2023, Marina has worked on multiple complex, high-profile projects, including an open competition to transform the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art in Kansas City, and a competition for a new museum building at Kistefos, Norway.

Marina is drawn to how contemporary architecture reflects a balance between traditional and modern styles. Having studied Spanish at university, she was excited to spend her year abroad in Barcelona, exploring the city’s blend of Gaudí’s modernist architecture and Gothic buildings.

Prior to MRC, Marina interned at two law firms in Barcelona and gained work experience at a UK-based management consultancy. In her spare time, Marina is a keen traveller, having visited Australasia, South America and Asia, and enjoys playing and watching tennis.

Marina has a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish from Trinity College, Oxford.
