Nick is responsible for designing MRC’s reports, documents, presentations and exhibition materials. He also advises on branding, image and in-house design-related matters.
In his previous position as a graphic designer for The Telegraph, Nick was part of the design team for the Daily Edition, as well as the Business and Sports Supplements. Here, Nick worked with editors, data researchers and illustrators to create precise and impactful visual layouts.
Prior to working at the broadsheet, Nick was a core member of a small team at Tortoise Media, a London-based ‘slow news’ start-up, leading the design of promotional material and event branding for high-profile international clients such as The Rothschild Foundation and Santander. Nick helped develop Tortoise’s visual language and type systems across digital and print design, contributing to the publication’s rapid growth over four years.
Inspired by architecture in his design work long before joining MRC, Nick is eager to expand his knowledge of the sector. Nick enjoys attending concerts and design exhibitions in his spare time, and is a baseball fan, following a recent trip to the US.
Nick holds a BA (Hons) in Graphic Design from the Manchester School of Art.
